Solitary plantar wart is one of common cutaneous viral infections. Human papilloma virus is the causative agent. The patients often present with painful walking or running. The previous treatments such as keratolytic agent, topical antiviral agent and electrodessication have unsastisfactory results. This study demonstrates the usefulness of carbondioxide laser to separate the epidermal layer from dermal layer before removal of the whole wart lesion

Conclusion: This technique has more advantage than previous laser ablation of the whole lesion e.g. save time, low risk of viral exposure and minimal scar formation.
