ความโดดเดี่ยวของผู้สูงอายุในสถานการณ์การระบาดของโรคติดเชื้อไวรัสโคโรนา 2019

บทคัดย่อ
การวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพแบบพรรณนาเจาะลึกนี้มีวัตถุ ประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความโดดเดี่ยวของผู้สูงอายุในสถาน การณ์การระบาดของโรคติดเชื้อ ไวรัสโคโรนา 2019 และวิธีการเผชิญความโดดเดี่ยว ผู้ให้ข้อมูลเป็นผู้สูงอายุที่มีประสบการณ์ความโดดเดี่ยว จำนวน 13 ราย เครื่องมือวิจัยได้แก่ แบบประเมินความโดดเดี่ยวของผู้สูงอายุ แบบประ เมินภาวะสมองเสื่อม และกรอบคำถามในการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกซึ่งพัฒนาโดยผู้วิจัย เก็บข้อมูลโดยใช้การสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกจนข้อมูลมีความอิ่มตัว ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ความโดดเดี่ยวของผู้สูงอายุเป็นความรู้สึกเหงา ต้องอยู่บ้านตามลำพัง ไม่สามารถไปเยี่ยมบุตรหลานได้ เสมือนว่าขาดการติดต่อกันจนขาดคู่คิด และไม่สามารถปฏิบัติกิจกรรมที่เคยทำได้ การเผชิญความโดดเดี่ยว เป็นการกระทำที่ใช้เพื่อรับมือกับสถานการณ์ ได้แก่ ใช้ประสบการณ์ที่มีอยู่ในตนเองแก้ปัญหา ยอมรับที่ต้องอยู่บ้านแม้รู้สึกอึดอัด หากิจกรรมที่เป็นประโยชน์ทำ ใช้โทรศัพท์/ วีดิโอคอล เพื่อสื่อสารกับคนในครอบครัว และแนะนำบุตรหลานตรวจหาเชื้อโควิดก่อนมาพบกัน นอกจากนี้ ยังพบว่าผู้สูงอายุมีวิธีในการสร้างความสุขด้วยตนเองแม้มีสถานการณ์ของโรคระบาดเกิดขึ้น
