การควบคุมและป้องกันการติดเชื้อแพร่ระบาดของโรคโควิด 19: บทบาทผู้ปฏิบัติการพยาบาลขั้นสูง

โรคโคโรนาไวรัส 2019 หรือ โรคโควิด 19 ส่งผลกระทบต่อระบบบริการสุขภาพในทุกประเทศ จำนวนผู้ป่วยติดเชื้อมีแนวโน้มเพิ่มสูงขึ้นทั่วโลก การควบคุมและป้องกันการติดเชื้อโรคโควิด 19 นับว่าเป็นบทบาทที่ท้าทายสำหรับบุคลากรทีมสุขภาพ ซึ่งพยาบาลวิชาชีพผู้ปฏิบัติการพยาบาลขั้นสูง ถือเป็นบุคลากรทีมสุขภาพที่มีความสำคัญ โดยเป็นผู้มีความเชี่ยวชาญทั้งในด้านความรู้ทักษะการพยาบาลขั้นสูง และภาวะผู้นำที่สามารถจัดการกับความเหลื่อมลำของผู้รับบริการและส่งเสริมการเข้าถึงการพยาบาลที่มีคุณภาพท่ามกลางสถานการณ์การแพร่ระบาดของโรคโควิด 19 โดยมีบทบาทสำคัญในการให้บริการด้านการรักษาพยาบาลเพื่อควบคุมและป้องกันการแพร่กระจายของโรคโควิด 19 ใน 3 ประเด็น คือ 1) การพัฒนาการบริการสุขภาพเพื่อการป้องกันและควบคุมการแพร่กระจายเชื้อ 2) การพัฒนาบทบาทของผู้ปฏิบัติการพยาบาลขั้นสูงเพื่อเพิ่มคุณภาพการพยาบาลผู้ป่วย โควิด 19 และ 3)สร้างเสริมพลังอำนาจเพื่อส่งเสริมความรู้ในการป้องกันโรค บทบาทของ ผู้ปฏิบัติการพยาบาลขั้นสูงมีความสำคัญอย่างยิ่งในการขับเคลื่อนการควบคุมและป้องกัน โรคโควิด 19 ซึ่งจะนำไปสู่คุณภาพของการบริการสุขภาพและความปลอดภัยของผู้ป่วย
