ความสำเร็จของการรักษาคลองรากฟันขึ้นกับการเปิดทางเข้าสู่คลองรากฟัน การเตรียมคลองรากฟัน การล้างคลองรากฟันและอุดคลองรากฟัน ในฟันกรามน้อยลักษณะทางกายวิภาคมีความหลากหลายมาก โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งฟันกรามน้อยที่มี 3 คลองรากฟัน ถูกพบน้อยมาก รายงานผู้ป่วยนี้ เป็นการอธิบายขั้นตอนการรักษาคลองรากฟันกรามน้อยบนและล่างที่มี 3 คลองรากฟัน
