Dengue infections are difficult to distinguish from other types of acute fever. As the symptoms are not specific and only patient history result in false positives or negatives. These require the of hematological and serological for screening as well. Dengue infection founded significant changes in the hematological laboratory tests, for example, the white blood cell count is lower than normal, (less than 5,000 cells / cubic meter) and platelets are reduced to less than 100,000 cells / cubic meter. The study aimed to study the relationship of laboratory results in the diagnosis of dengue infection, whether the positive effects of the indicator of dengue infection depend on
changes in blood integrity. 163 patients were included. Data of immunological laboratory results revealed that changes of CBC results, number of white blood cells and platelets were correlated with the positive results of the Dengue Marker significantly (p <0.05). If the test results are positive for at least two dengue marker we will see ratio of changes in both WBC and platelet parameters more than 50 percent. In contrast, if only one Dengue Marker was positive, that may not be any changes or only one parameter changes. According to the guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of dengue fever, when a patient was suspected to dengue infection, there must be at least two important CBC parameters in combination with the Dengue marker that will help the diagnosis results be more accurate.
