Abstract

การรับรองคุณภาพและการให้เอกสารรับรอง เป็นรูปแบบการประเมินวิธีหนึ่งที่เน้นการประเมินคุณค่า (value) และความรับผิดชอบที่ตรวจสอบได้ (accountability-oriented evaluation) โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อพิจารณาว่า สถาบัน องค์กร หรือกลุ่มบุคคลได้ปฏิบัติงานหรือให้การบริการตามเงื่อนไขภารกิจที่กำหนดไว้มากน้อยเพียงใดผลการประเมินจะถูกนำไปสะท้อนกลับให้สถาบัน องค์กร และกลุ่มบุคคลได้ปรับปรุงการปฏิบัติให้ได้ตามเกณฑ์มาตรฐานที่กำหนด และเมื่อสิ้นสุดการประเมินในแต่ละครั้งจะมีการให้เอกสารรับรองว่า สถาบัน องค์กร หรือ กลุ่มบุคคลเหล่านั้นผ่านหรือไม่ผ่านเกณฑ์มาตรฐานที่กำหนดไว้ ในปัจจุบันมีการนำการรับรองคุณภาพมาใช้อย่าง แพร่หลายทั้งในการรับรองระบบการศึกษาทั่วไป การศึกษาพยาบาล และในวิชาชีพต่างๆเพื่อให้เกิดความมั่นใจว่า ผลผลิตของสถาบัน องค์กรมีความพร้อมที่จะให้การบริการต่อสาธารณะ

Abstract

Accreditation and Certification is an evaluation model focusing on value–oriented and accountabilityoriented evaluation. The objective of Accreditation and Certification is to determine or judge the degree in which the institute, organization, or group perform their work or services consistent with their missions. At the completion of each accreditation the institute, organization, or group will receive a certificate to inform how well they meet the standardized criteria. Currently, quality assurance has been widely employed in educational systems, nursing education, and other professions to ensure that outcomes of the institute or organization are adequate to provide services to public.
