Nursing Care of Patient Stroke: A 2 Case Study

Abstract

Background: Stroke can be fetal and can cause complications easily if treatment is delayed and not standard. Nurse should have knowledge and ability to early assess in order to receive cure and care on time to prevent complication may occur.

Objective: The study was to determine Nursing Care of   Patient   Ischemic Stroke   : A 2 Case Study

Meterial and Methods: A study to compare the study of stroke and stroke patients. Admitted 2 patients in Theppharat Nakhonratchasima Hospital, Instrument were the study include: Record form Gather information from inpatient medical records. Relative interviews and observations. Data analysis Comparative analysis Risk factors for stroke, pathology, symptoms and signs, treatment, problems and diagnoses in nursing. Content Planning and Content Management.

Case study : Comparison of two ischemic patients.

                    Patient 1, 54-year-old Thai man, major symptoms do not say vomiting, then symptoms of severe limb. Before coming to the hospital, 3 hours was diagnosed Ischemic Stroke. 

                    Patient 2, 56-year-old Thai female patients, Symptoms are unclear and left leg limb. Before coming to hospital, 4 hours was diagnosed Ischemic Stroke

Conclusion: This study reveals that nurse a crucial role in assessment of the problem from first day of visit, aware of a suspected change in neurologic function. These can help patient to receive prompt nursing care and safety. Moreover, promoting the knowledge of caregiver in modifiable risk factors of ischemic stroke such as hypertension, smoking, and drinking in \order to promote the practice of prevention for ischemic stroke.
