THE DEVELOPMENT OF TRAINING COURSE TO ENCHANCE THE PERFORMANCE OF STROKE CARE NURSES TAMBON HEALTH PROMOTING HOSPITAL, KALASIN PROVINCE

This Quasi- Experimental Research study aimed to develop and evaluate the capacity of the stroke care nurses. The research is divided into four stages. Stage 1: Studying basic information and the need to develop training courses. Phase 2 Course Development. Phase 3 Implementation of Training Courses and Phase 4 Evaluation of Training Courses. The population consisted of professional nurses working on stroke care who work in subdivision health promoting hospitals in Kalasin province. This training courses included an 18-hour classroom course with both lectures and practices.
The results of training courses founded that a total of 50 trained nurses, mostly female, 86.00 percent, between the ages of 31 and 40, 48.00 percent, a bachelor's degree, 94.00 percent. The score of pre-training was 7.97, while, after training was 10.90. There was a statistically significant difference in P-value < 0.001. Furthermore, the satisfaction level is greater than the required threshold. Average 3.50 in all aspects.
Policy should be established to develop personnel competency in sub-district health promoting hospitals and support the use of curriculum for the quality of patient service.
