FACTORS RELATED OF SURVEILLANCE AND PREVENTION OF CORONAVIRUS DISEASE 2019 (COVID-19) OF VILLAGE HEALTH VOLUNTEERS (VHVS) IN THUNGFON DISTRICT UDON THANI PROVINCE

This Cross-sectional descriptive study aimed to study factors related to surveillance and prevention among 489 Village Health Volunteers (VHVs) in Thungfon District, Udon Thani Province during February to April 2022. Data were collected by questionnaires with reliability 0.95. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, Spearman's correlation coefficient.
The results revealed that most samples were females 77.50% (mean aged 54 years) (average aged of VHVs 14.60 years). In addition, factors associated with surveillance and preventive were self-defense behavior, self-care, hand washing, work motivation, severity of disease perception, proactive disease control, communication plan follow-up, searching for report records and supporting for medical equipment with statistically significant at 0.01 level (rs=0.694, 0.641, 0.715, 0.775, 0.635, 0.799, 0.765, 0.706, and 0.715 respectively). And factors associated with surveillance and prevention were age and knowledge of COVID-19 with statistically significant at 0.05 level (rs=0.089, and 0.098 respectively).
