THE DEVELOPMENT OF NURSING SUPERVISION PROGRAM MODEL OF THE FIRST LEVEL ADMINISTRATOR IN SUKHOTHAI HOSPITALBASE ON 2P SAFETY

This research and development aims to the research and development were develop and study the effects of nursing supervision model of the First level in Sukhothai Hospital. There are 4 phases: 1) preparation for model development, 2) nursing supervision model development, 3) Applying the nursing supervision model, and 4) evaluating the use of the nursing supervision model. The sampling groups were 29 first level administrators and 100 registered nurses. Tools used 1) semi-structured interview form 2) nursing supervision manual 3) a test of knowledge, competency, satisfaction of the first level administrators 4) a registered nurse satisfaction questionnaire 5) a record of nursing outcomes. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Stats Wilcoxon signed-ranks test, Stats Paired t-test
The results showed that 1) developed using Proctor's concepts, including activities, supervision process contains a nursing supervision handbook with the 2P Safety principle 2) Knowledge, satisfaction, competency of the first level administrators and supervision recipients after using the developed supervision style was higher than before using the statistical significance at the 0.05 level (p-value< 0.001) and the 2P Safety nursing outcomes after using the developed model had an incidence of risk E. more, less than before development.
Therefore, the nursing supervision model of the junior administrators with the 2P Safety principle, it should be studied in the future in specific disease patients.
