SYMPTOM EXPERIENCES, SYMPTOM MANAGEMENT AND OUTCOMES OF MANAGEMENT AMONG END STAGE RENAL DISEASE PATIENT WITH PALLIATIVE CARE

The purpose of descriptive study were to explore the symptom experiences, symptom management strategies and symptom outcomes among of eighty-nine end stage renal diseases patient with palliative care. The data was collected by the symptom experiences questionnaires. The data were descriptive statistically analysis.
The finding revealed the first fifth order symptoms included fatigue, nausea/vomiting, insomnia, dizziness and pain. The most frequent symptom and most severely disrupted daily of life was fatigue. The symptom management included manage food and water, take a rest and take a nap, alternative medicine, meditation and cognitive, arrangement environment. The participant perceived the symptom revealed that feel better than they get.
The patient experiences used to develop care plan to support those who live with end stage renal dieses with palliative care to gain better living.
