Factors Affecting Participation in Mobilization to the Improvement of Quality of Life among District Health Board Muang Nakorn phanom District, Nakorn phanom Province

Abstract

This cross-sectional research aimed to study factors affecting participation in mobilization to the improvement of quality of life among district health board Muang Nakorn Phanom district, Nakorn Phanom province. The population used in the study (N) was 21 members of district health board Muang nakorn phanom district, Nakorn phanom Province and 30 members of sub-district health sub-board Muang nakorn phanom district, Nakorn phanom Province. Data were collected using a questionnaire and then analyzed to determine frequencies, percentages, means, standard deviations and stepwise multiple regression analysis.

The results revealed that 56.86% were male, 62.75% of participants had over the age between 51-59 years, 70.59 % had received bachelor's degree, 84.32% were marriage status, 31.37% had average income above 50,001 bath, 56.86% had DHB had years’  experience  between  above 3 years, 58.82% had not attended a meeting or training session on quality of life improvement; their levels of knowledge were moderate, attitudes were moderate and participation in mobilization to the improvement of quality of life were moderate. The results of stepwise multiple regression analysis found that social pressure attitudes and legal power attitudes that affected to participation in mobilization to the improvement of quality of life and use with the prediction of 58.00 (R²=0.580).
