Knowledge and attitudes toward herbal steam treatment at temple located In Muang district , Ubon Ratchathani province

Abstract

     This research aims to 1) the level of knowledge and attitudes toward herbal steam treatment at temple located 2) the relationship between knowledge and attitudes toward herbal steam treatment at temple located in Muang district Ubon Ratchathani. The sample in this study were 380 people of service recipients in the herbal steam treatment at temple located in Muang district Ubon Ratchathani by purposive sampling technique. Test and questionnaires were used to collect the data. Data were analyzed by percentage, mean, standard deviation and Pearson product moment correlation coefficient.

The results of this study were as follows: The people of service recipients in the herbal steam treatment at temple located in Muang district Ubon Ratchathani were male of 196 people. (51.65%), aged 18-25 years old of 109 people (28.7%), Education Level Bachelor's Degree of 146 people (38.4%), and most of student 110 people (28.9%). The service recipients has the high level (94.2%) of knowledge about herbal steam treatment and attitude was at the high level ( = 4.054 , S = 0.898). There were correlation between the knowledge and the attitudes toward herbal steam treatment at temple located and had significant level at 0.01 (p=0.210**)
