A Study of the opportunity to develop the Clinical Practice Guideline (CPG) for Lueadlompraprun in the Elderly by Manus Therapy

Abstract
The purpose was to study the opportunity to develop the clinical practice guideline (CPG) for Lueadlompraprun in the elderly by Manus therapy. The methodologies were content analysis and focus group from 20 Thai traditional medical doctors who treated Lueadlompraprun in the elderly at Thai Traditional Medical Demonstrative Hospital, the School of Traditional and Alternative Medicine.
The results revealed that the clinical practice guideline (CPG) for Lueadlompraprun composed of 6 criteria: 1. Symptoms include at least 2 of 3 symptoms; 1.1 heavy sensation in the body 1.2 sweating 1.3 dizziness. 2. Causes of disease were the body degeneration, and the climate change before raining. 3. Diagnosis with Thai Traditional Medicine (TTM) process. 4. Treatment opportunity was 80 percent recovery 5. Treatment by Manus therapy 6. Treatment conditions; 6.1 Treat on a weekly basis 2 months successively 6.2 Follow the advice of TTM doctor.
This study showed the opportunity of Thai traditional medicine to develop clinical practice guidelines However, more quantitative studies of Lueadlompraprun in the elderly treatment should be conducted.
