The Thai Traditional Medical Knowledge Examination for the Bachelors from an educational institution accredited by the Thai Traditional Medical Council

Abstract

Thai Traditional Medical Council (TTMC) has the 3 regulations in the examination in the Thai traditional medical knowledge, since the announcement of Thai traditional medical council act, B.E. 2556 (2016).  The misunderstanding in counting the years of passing the examination that becomes effective had always been the examinees’ problems. The legitimate count is considered only the year that announced the examination (in the title of the announcement) without taking the first or the second examinations in that year into account and they counted the year that passed examination as 1.  The 2019 examination regulation allows the students that remain only professional practicing to join the second step in every branch of Thai traditional profession.  In 2019 examination,  the second step from the first examination can keep only three years, but the second step from the second examination can keep for four years. TTMC must declare the pass years that the pass examination results still effective in each examination announcement, which will reduce problems in the examination submission.
