About the Journal
Aims of The Journal
The Journal of Health and Nursing Education aims to publish research and academic papers about health and nursing education and to enhance networking and rapport-building among professionals in health and nursing education. Any manuscript in the two following genres will be considered to be reviewed and published: 1) Research articles or primary sources, review articles or meta-analyses or secondary sources, and case studies conducted with a research approach and 2) Academic articles that the editorial team considers beneficial to target readers, such as literature reviews, theory-oriented papers, and methodological papers

Peer Review Process
All research and academic articles published in the journal are double-blind peer-reviewed by 2-3 reviewers who have different affiliations from the authors.
Publication Frequency
The journal publishes three issues a year.
- The first issue is published for January - April
- The second issue is published for May-Auguse
- The third issue is published for September-December
Open Access Policy
The Journal of Health and Nursing Education provides immediate open access to its content after being uploaded to the website. Readers can download full issues or articles without fees.

Journal History
In 1993, the Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Ratchasima, issued the first newsletter entitled the Newsletter of Nakhon Ratchasima College of Nursing. It was intended to be a medium of communication among members and accepted manuscripts about research and interesting topics. This newsletter was published four times a year. The first issue was published in July and September. The first editor-in-chief was Ms. Prangthong Thepneeramitre.
In 1994, the newsletter’s title, The Newsletter of Nakhon Ratchasima College of Nursing, was changed to The Newsletter of Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Ratchasima, due to a change of the college's name.
In 1996, the newsletter was redesigned to be a journal with the title The Journal of Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Ratchasima. The editor-in-chief was Ms. Napadol Seehapan. The Office of the Library of Thailand, Fine Arts Department, assigned the International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) -0859-4562 to the journal. The ISSN was used for the first time in volume 2, issue 2 (March - May 1996).
In 2013, the journal was approved by the Thai-Journal Citation Index Centre [TCI] and categorized into tier 2 of the journals in the area of Science and Technology. The approval was from May 17th, 2013 - December 31st, 2014.
In 2015, the journal was approved by the TCI and categorized into tier 1 of the journals in the area of Science and Technology. The approval was from January 1st, 2015 to December 31st, 2019.
In 2015, the journal was approved by the TCI and categorized into tier 1 of the journals in the area of Science and Technology. The approval was from January 1st, 2015 to December 31st, 2019.
In 2020, the journal was approved by the TCI and categorized into tier 2 of the journals in the area of Science and Technology. The approval was from January 1st, 2020 - December 31st, 2024.
From 2019 to 2020, the administrative committee of Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Ratchasima reached a consensus to change the journal's title to the Journal of Health and Nursing Education, which would be an online-only journal. The new title originally appeared on the journal cover of volume 26, issue 1 (January-June 2020). The online journal was assigned the ISSN (online) 2730-2598 on July 13, 2020. This ISSN has appeared on the journal’s cover since volume 26, issue 2 (July - December 2020).
In 2022, the journal editorial team submitted the required documents to TCI for upgrading the journal to tier 1 (2022 - 2024)
In 2023, the Journal of Health and Nursing Education published
3 issues per year: Issue 1, January - April, Issue 2,
May - August, and Issue 3, September - December.

Passed the quality certification for Thai academic journals under TCI Group 1 (2025-2029)
