The Efficiency of E-Learning Courseware Media ofAdult Nursing Subject on student’s readinessfor nursing licensing examinationof the School of Nursing, Rangsit University

This Quasi-Experimental Research of one group pretest-post test design aimed to: 1) Test the efficiency of the e-Learning’s courseware media ofAdult Nursingsubject based on the content’s scope of the Thailand Nursing and Midwifery Council on preparing the studentsfor nursing licensing examination 2) To compare the learning achievements of the students before and after using the e-Learning courseware media of Adult Nursing subject; 3) To examine the satisfaction of the students toward the e-Learning courseware media of Adult Nursing subject. The subjects were comprised of 70fourth year undergraduate nursing students who studied in thefirst and second semester of the academic year 2013. The instruments used in this research included: 1)the e-Learning courseware titled Adult Nursing subject; 2) A learning achievement test; 3) Satisfaction Questionnaire toward the e-Learning courseware media. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Wilcoxon Signed Rank test and one sample t-test. The results indicated that the efficiency of the e-Learning courseware media of Adult Nursing subject(E1/E2) was90.20/83.03 level which met the set criteria 80/80. The learning achievement scores of the students after learning via the e-Learning courseware were significantly higher thanbefore the e-Learning courseware media usage(p <.001). Moreover, the satisfaction toward the e-Learning was in high levels for all aspects.The e-Learning courseware media of Adult Nursing subject should be appliedas a media in the learning process of this subject and should be used for Nursing Licensing Examination preparation for nursing students.
