ปัญหาและความต้องการด้านการเรียนของนักศึกษาโครงการผลิตพยาบาลวิชาชีพเพิ่ม เพื่อแก้ไขปัญหาในพื้นที่จังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้

บทคัดย่อ

นักศึกษาในโครงการผลิตพยาบาลวิชาชีพเพิ่มเพื่อแก้ไขปัญหาในพื้นที่จังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้ เป็นนักศึกษาที่มาจาก 5 จังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้ ซึ่งมีภูมิหลังที่มีลักษณะเฉพาะ ที่อาจมีผลต่อการเรียน   การวิจัยเชิงพรรณนานี้จึงจัดทำขึ้นเพื่อศึกษาปัญหาและความต้องการด้านการเรียนของนักศึกษาในโครงการผลิตพยาบาลวิชาชีพเพิ่ม เพื่อแก้ไขปัญหาในพื้นที่จังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้ กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ นักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 1 ในโครงการฯ จากพื้นที่จังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้ที่เข้าศึกษา ณ  วิทยาลัยพยาบาล บรมราชชนนี   นครราชสีมา ในปีการศึกษา 2550  จำนวน 199 คน เก็บข้อมูลโดยแบบสอบถามปลายเปิด  วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา (Content Analysis) ผลการศึกษาพบว่ากลุ่มตัวอย่างมีปัญหาด้านการเรียน 3 ประเด็น คือ 1) ปัญหาที่เกิดจากการบริหารจัดการของวิทยาลัย ได้แก่ จัดตารางเรียนให้เรียนทุกวันไม่มีวันหยุด   ปัจจัยสนับสนุนการเรียนไม่เพียงพอ ่ภาคการศึกษาที่ / และสภาพแวดล้อมในห้องเรียนไม่ส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ 2) ปัญหาที่เกิดจากผู้สอน ได้แก่ สอนเร็วเกินไป และวิธีการสอนน่าเบื่อ และ 3) ปัญหาที่เกิดจากนักศึกษา ได้แก่ ความจำไม่ดี และมีพฤติกรรมการเรียนไม่เหมาะสม นักศึกษามีความต้องการให้วิทยาลัย  1) ปรับการจัดตารางเรียนให้เหมาะสมและจัดชั้นเรียนให้เล็กลง  2) ปรับวิธีการสอบให้เว้นช่วงจากการเรียน  3) จัดหาสิ่งสนับสนุนการเรียนให้เพียงพอ  4) พัฒนาระบบการให้บริการคอมพิวเตอร์และห้องสมุด และ 5)ให้อาจารย์ปรับวิธีการสอน ผลการศึกษาครั้งนี้สามารถนำไปใช้เป็นแนวทางในการวางแผนการจัดการเรียนการสอนให้สอดคล้องกับปัญหาและความต้องการด้านการเรียน  เพื่อให้นักศึกษาสามารถเรียนได้สำเร็จตามความ

Abstract

The nursing students recruited for the increase nursing workforce project for the boarder provinces of southern Thailand were from five provinces located at the boarder of southern Thailand. They all had certain socio-cultural background that might affect their learning matters. This descriptive study was conducted to identify their learning problems and needs. The samples were composed of 199 nursing students recruited for the project studying at Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhonratchasima in academic year 2006. The data were collected by an open-ended questionnaire and analyzed with content analysis. The results indicated that learning problems were related to three factors included 1) learning management concerning over cramped learning schedule, inadequate learning facilities, and non-promotive learning atmosphere, 2) instructor factors regarding rapid talk and boring teaching technique, and, 3) learner factors comprising poor cognitive skill and inappropriate learning behaviors. The students expressed their needs including appropriate schedule, smaller size classes, providing time to review before the examination, adequate learning facilities, improving computer and library service system, and more interesting teaching methods. The research results can be applied as a guideline for instructors to develop a plan of learning management that can solve students’ learning problems and support their needs.
