Effectiveness of using the Zoom cloud meeting Application tutorial in Midwifery Practicum
Abstract
Objective : This Action research design is intended to study to effectiveness of using the Zoom cloud meeting Application tutorial in Midwifery Practicum at a private university.
Methods : The samples derive from 64 students in midwifery practicum. The Experimental group studied with the lecturer and through the Zoom cloud meeting application weekly, twice a week, 2 hours a week for a total of 6 weeks and The Control group studied with the lecturer Research tools include general record format and pre-post test. The data were analyzed by Descriptive Statistics and t-test.
Results :The research found that
- The experimental group’s average post – experimental overall score was significantly higher than that of pre– experimental, at 0.01.
- The experimental group’s average post – experimental care – giving knowledge score was significantly higher than that of the control group, at 0.01
- The experimental group’s average post – experimental care – giving skill score was significantly higher than that of the control group, at 0.01
Conclusion : The results show that the use of the Zoom cloud meeting application allows teaching in the midwifery practicum make the learners have the knowledge and skill.
