บทคัดย่อ
หลักการและเหตุผล: ผู้ป่วยที่มีการสูญเสียฟันหลังไปหลายซี่ ฟันธรรมชาติที่เหลืออยู่จึงรับแรงเพิ่มมากขึ้นต่อมาจะนำไปสู่การสึกของฟันหน้าอย่างรุนแรง ทำให้เกิดการสูญเสียมิติในแนวดิ่งตามมา การสึกของฟันเป็นภาวะที่พบบ่อยในผู้สูงอายุ ทำให้เกิดความเจ็บปวด ส่งผลเสียต่อความสวยงาม การใช้งาน และคุณภาพชีวิตโดยรวม กรณีศึกษารายงานผู้ป่วยนี้ ใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยเชิงพรรณนา เพื่ออธิบายวิธีการรักษาและแนวทางการดูแลผู้ป่วยที่มีฟันสึกที่ฟันหน้าและสูญเสียมิติแนวดิ่ง การวางแผนการรักษาด้วยการใส่ฟันเทียมทับรากบางส่วนชนิดถอดได้ฐานอะคริลิกขยายฐานในขากรรไกรบนและฟันเทียมบางส่วนชนิดถอดได้ฐานโลหะขยายฐานในขากรรไกรล่างให้แก่ผู้ป่วย ผลการรักษาและการติดตามเป็นระยะพบว่าผู้ป่วยพึงพอใจด้านความสวยงาม มีประสิทธิภาพดี และคุณภาพชีวิตดีขึ้น
