Anaphylaxis in anesthesia practice: A review

Abstract

Anaphylaxis is uncommon complication in anesthesia practice, but its effect can be lifethreatening. Therefore, early recognition and treatment is important. Anaphylaxis is type I hypersensitivity syndrome caused by encounter with specific antigen resulting in severe allergic reaction. This review will focus on signs and symptoms, laboratory investigation, common agents which may cause anaphylaxis in anesthesia practice and treatment of this condition.

บทนำ: ปฏิกิริยาภูมิแพ้รุนแรงชนิด anaphylaxis เป็นสิ่งที่พบไม่บ่อยในงานวิสัญญี แต่เป็นภาวะที่อันตราย ถึงชีวิตและต้องได้รับการรักษาโดยทันท่วงที ปฏิกิริยาภูมิแพ้รุนแรงชนิด anaphylaxis เกิดจากภาวะภูมิไวเกิน (Hypersensitivity) ชนิดที่ 1 โดยที่เมื่อร่างกายสัมผัสสารที่กระตุ้นให้เกิดปฏิกิริยาภูมิแพ้จากภายนอกร่างกาย จะกระตุ้นให้เกิดปฏิกิริยาภูมิแพ้ขึ้น ในบทความนี้จะมีการกล่าวถึงอาการและอาการแสดงของผู้ป่วย การวินิจฉัยทางห้องปฏิบัติการ สารที่เป็นสาเหตุที่ทำให้เกิดปฏิกิริยาภูมิแพ้รุนแรงชนิด anaphylaxis ที่พบบ่อย ในงานวิสัญญี และการรักษาภาวะนี้
