บทคัดย่อ
บทความนี้มีจุดประสงค์เพื่อรายงานแนวทางการรักษาคลองรากฟันโดยไม่ใช้วิธีศัลยกรรมในฟันตัดหน้ากลางที่มีการเชื่อมกับฟันเกินร่วมกับภาวะฟันในฟันประเภทที่ 3 ลักษณะทางคลินิกและภาพถ่ายรังสีพบลักษณะตัวฟันและระบบคลองรากฟันที่ซับซ้อน มีรูเปิดคลองราก 2 ตำแหน่งและระบบคลองรากเชื่อมกันทั้งหมด จึงมีการใช้เครื่องมือและเทคนิคที่มีความทันสมัยในระหว่างขั้นตอนการรักษา ได้แก่ เครื่องมืออัลตราโซนิกส์ กล้องจุลทรรศน์กำลังขยายสูง เทคนิคการอุดคลองรากฟันด้วยความร้อน ซึ่งมีส่วนช่วยในการกำจัดเชื้อจุลชีพในคลองรากฟันและป้องกันการแพร่กระจายของเชื้อออกสู่เนื้อเยื่อรอบปลายรากฟันได้ดีมากขึ้น จากรายงานกรณีศึกษาฟันซี่นี้มีการตอบสนองต่อการรักษาอย่างดี และเมื่อติดตามผลการรักษา 7 เดือนต่อมาผู้ป่วยไม่มีอาการใด ๆ ตรวจทางภาพรังสีพบการหายรอยโรคปลายราก
