Evaluation of the Rapid Immunochromatographic Test (PanBio RIT®) Comparing to Clinical Dengue Infection
Main Article Content
Abstract
Nowdays, The diagnosis of dengue hemorrhagic fever and dengue fever still be diagnosed by the clinical symptoms and basic laboratory test. Rapid Immunochromatoraphic Test (PanBio RIT®) is the test for helping the diagnosis of dengue infection. We studied the diagnosis of dengue infection by RIT comparing to Clinical Dengue Infection. Serum samples were collected from 309 addmitted patients in Sisaket Hospital. About 227 patients were diagnosed as dengue hemorrhagic fever and dengue fever. We demonstrated dengue virus by using Rapid Immunochromatographic Test (PanBio RIT®) about 203 patients From 227 patients (89.43%). This test can identify primary and secondary infection.
