The CD and weight of those who keep using drugs raised up (66.67%) and (58.97%) respectively. All case found drug-related problems and the most reported problems were ADR (67.91%), drug interaction (21.93%) and discontinuation the therapy (7.49%).The anti-retroviral drugs which mostly reported to cause ADR were INDINAVIR and RITONAVIR (24.80%) and the most frequent reported symptom were nausea and vomiting (19.64 %). 13 of case experienced serious ADR. Drug interaction were found in 16 couples of concomitant drugs therapy; neither of them had major severity level. The cost of using antiretroviral drugs per patients per month is around 5,916 -12,078 Bath.
Conclusion: AIDS patients almost always consume too many medications, which even cause complexity of predicting and adjusting for drug interaction and adverse drug reaction. Since all cases had drug-related problems. Thus, Pharmacists, playing a major role should take time to review carefully each patients medication.
