Autopolypectomy of AntrochoanalPpolyp : an Extremely Rare Clinical Entity

Abstract
Antrochoanal polyps are benign slow growing and usually unilateral tumors that arise from the mucosa of maxillary sinus, grow into the maxillary sinus and reach the choana and prolonged unilateral nasal obstruction being their main symptom. Some patients have symptoms of chronic rhinosinusitis, snoring or obstructive sleep apnea. Surgery is the treatment of choice and recurrence is infrequent. This report presents a 18 years old man with autopolypectomy by taking deep breaths then coughing after suffered from nasal obstruction for 5 years. This is an extremely rare clinical entity, never reported in the literature before.
