The Development of a Physical Rehabilitation on LINE Official Accounts

Abstract
Background: The intermediate Care(IMC) patients often encounter problems when returning home for recovery that their caregivers can’t remember the rehabilitation method and caregiver are not the person who were trained in the hospital. causing the Intermediate Care patients to not be properly rehabilitation.
Objectives: To investigate the effectiveness of physical rehabilitation and satisfaction of using physical rehabilitation on Line official account (Line OA) in Intermediate Care patients.
Methods: This study is a quasi-experimental research with the one group pretest-posttest design after use physical rehabilitation on Line official account (Line OA).
Results: Participants were 26 IMC patient caregivers. The result showed that caregivers had physical rehabilitation knowledge mean scores before and after learning from "IMC patient rehabilitation" online videos 8.9 points (S.D. = 1.1) and 12.1 points (S.D. = 1.6), respectively. Caregivers had statistically significant increased knowledge. (p < 0.05) The satisfaction of using physical rehabilitation on Line OA in IMC patients was at a very good level.
Conclusions: The development of physical rehabilitation on Line OA in IMC patients could increase rehabilitation potential and knowledge of caregivers during IMC patient rehabilitation at home by learning via online videos. Caregivers could watch online videos to review rehabilitation knowledge and then put it into practice as often as they want. Apart from that Line OA is also a way to contact and inquire about problems between caregivers and health personnel via messages.
