บทคัดย่อ
โรคปริทันต์อาจเป็นสาเหตุให้เกิดการเปลี่ยนตำแหน่งของฟันหนึ่งหรือทั้งกลุ่มฟันไปจากตำแหน่ง เดิม ทำให้เกิดการล้มเอียง การยื่นยาวของฟัน รวมถึงทำให้เกิดช่องห่างระหว่างฟัน การรักษาทาง ทันตกรรมจัดฟันมีวัตถุประสงค์เพี่อแกไขในเรื่องความสวยงามโดยจัดเรียงฟันให้เป็นระเบียบ รายงาน ฉบับนี้แสดงถึงการรักษาทางทันตกรรมจัดฟันในผู้ป่วยผู้ใหญ่ที่มีภาวะโรคปริทันต์ระดับปานกลาง ผู้ป่วย มาพบทันตแพทย์เนื่องจากฟันหน้ายื่นและห่าง ก่อนเริ่มรักษาทางทันตกรรมจัดฟัน ผู้ป่วยต้องได้รับการ รักษาภาวะโรคปริทันต์โดยขูดหินน้ำลาย, เกลารากฟัน และได้รับคำแนะนำในการดูแลรักษาสุขสภาพ ช่องปาก การรักษาทางทันตกรรมจัดฟันจะเริ่มต้นขึ้นเมื่อภาวะการอักเสบของเนื้อเยื่อปริทันต์ถูกกำจัด ออกไป และผู้ป่วยมีสุขภาพช่องปากที่ดี
