To Celebrate of The Sixtieth Anniversary Celebrations of His Majesty’s Accession to the Throne - ENT mobile team from Thailand with mission in the Union of Myanmar

Abstract

     To cerebrate of The Sixtieth Anniversary Celebrations of His Majesty’s Accession to the Throne, a mobile ENT team of eighteen led by Dr Soontorn Antarasena of Rural Ear Nose and Throat Foundation of Thailand currently visited the Union of Myanmar from 1-12 December 2006. The purposes of the visit were to enhance the relationship between the Kingdom of Thailand and the Union of Myanmar and increase the cooperation of the medical personnel of the two countries. The mobile ENT team worked at the hospitals of Pakokku, Miektila, and the ENT hospital of Yangon. The total amount of 1,629 patients were examined and 119 cases were operated.
