Competency of Practice Nursing Process of Registed Nurse in Surin hospital

Abstract
Back ground: Nursing process is important for nurses to plane for standard care patients. Registed nurse in Surin hospital have competency of practice nursing process.
Objective:
1. To study competency of practice nursing process.
2. To study problems and suggest of practice nursing process.
Setting: Internal Patients Department in Surin hospital.
Research design: The methodology of the study is the survey research.
Population: Regised nurses have experied over 1 year, Sampling are 184 nurses, Stratified Random Sampling.
Setting: Internal Patients Department 29 wards from Gynecology, Surgical, Medical and Pediatric department
Methods: The study tools were training of nursing process and data base project and a questionnaire on knowledge attitude and practice of nursing process for patients care. The reliability of questionnaire knowledge part was 0.72. The reliability of questionnaire attitude part was 0.84 and 0.95 part of the practice part. The observed practice of nursing process, tool is development for 5 process of nursing process. The content validity of observed was examined by five experts. Collecting data first time, sampling answer questionnaire, second time head nurse observed practice of nursing process.
Result: The knowledge have higher median, attitude to nursing process is median (MEAN = 2.55, S.D. = 0.49), practice of nursing process is median (MEAN = 2.7, S.D. = 0.40), observed practice on nursing process is median. Experied to work not ralation in practice of nursing process.
Conclusion: Suggest to test practice nursing process by observed.
